Welcome to RHESSI 17
The 17th RHESSI workshop will be held at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland from 18th June to 23rd June 2018.
Launched in 2002, the Reuven Ramaty High Energy Solar Spectroscopic Imager (RHESSI) is a NASA Small Explorer Mission designed to explore the basic physics of particle acceleration and explosive energy release in solar flares. This is achieved through imaging spectroscopy observations of the X-ray and gamma-ray emissions of these energetic events. RHESSI has now covered more than a complete 11-year solar cycle and continues to make observations. This workshop is the 17th in a series of workshops to explore topics in solar flare physics that can be addressed with the RHESSI mission.
